Pricing
Due to the amount of work involved with each portrait a 30% non-refundable deposit fee will be required.
This will hold your position on my work schedule.

Dimensions are of actual paper size. With matting and framing total size results will be larger.

Drawings done with colored pencil where limited colors (white, grays & black) are used is the same price as graphite on price chart.

Sizes 6" x 8",  8" x 10" and  9" x 12" are recommended for head/shoulder study.

Fees are for unmatted and unframed portraits.

15% off for returning clients.

Head/Shoulders or Full Body are the same price.

There is no extra charge for basic (or simple) collars and tack.

If you would prefer more space around subject(s) or to fit a frame you already have there is no extra charge
for a larger paper size. Just fill out in the special requests section in the order form. Subject(s) will stay same size as size priced.

Extra Options:
Custom framing is available, please allow an additional 1- 2 weeks for completion time.

For a second and each additional pet or person please add 20% to the price of your chosen size.

Montage drawings are $32 per person or pet on top of the 12x16 or larger size base price.

Additional fees apply if complex backgrounds are desired at 30% of chosen price. If you would like a back ground and have one in mind that is different then in the photo chosen it can be substituted for one more to your liking. I can help find examples for you to choose from. Portraits are done without a background unless requested.

What is a Montage?
The technique of combining in a single composition, pictorial elements from various photographs either to give
the illusion that the elements belonged together originally or to allow each element to retain it's separate
identity as means of adding interest or meaning to a composition.

Charcoal:  General's Charcoal Pencils
Graphite:  Prismacolor Premier Turquoise drawing pencils
Colored Pencil:  Prismacolor Premier Softcore Pencils
Pastel:  Conte Pastel Pencils combined with Prismacolor Nu Pastels
Papers: Stonehenge drawing paper or Canson Mi-Teintes colored paper and Hahnemuhle Velour Paper

All finished artwork except Pastel will be sprayed with fixative to prevent smudging.

Subject Matter:
I enjoy drawing just about everything. All animals, people, floral, still life, cars, motorcycles, houses ..........
So anything you have in mind I will draw for you, just let me know.
